howdy. not that I ever was very active on here, but the latest cash grab with ai art has been the tipping point. i'm tired of artists being trampled by megacorporations for the sake of a little more profit. i've been trying to move away from socmed the past week anyways, with the recent debacle on twitter making me feel like now is better than ever to make a personal site and eschew socmed entirely. it's still a work in progress, so for now you can find me on the sites listed here -> listography.com/thatoddhaystack/misc/other_accounts
i haven't flat out deleted my account for two reasons. one, i have a perhaps naive hope that dA will see how much people hate this and will double back on it, and two, the doc scratch shimeji i uploaded a decade ago still gets a couple notifs every now and then, and since I didn't upload it anywhere else it would become lost media if i nuked it. i might still nuke it after uploading it to my personal site, but we will see.
